With what seems like a gazillion different places to get coffee in NYC, I sometimes go crazy trying to decide which one I should hit up for a sweet cup of Joe that won't bust my pocket.
Well, as I was doing my weekly Saturday shopping routine in the East Village the sounds of reggae music, accompanied by the aroma of freshly sweet brewed coffee, stopped me flat in my tracks. Mud coffee to the rescue! Everyone knows about the Mud truck, but the actual place made me go HELL YEA!
This place has the tastiest, freshest coffee grinding up that you could imagine. And, as if that wasn't enough, their DJ, yes DJ, spins the perfect mix of reggae/chill out-get your work done music I've heard since my days at NYU.
Oh, and don't forget about the garden out back, with the HUGE wine list up on the gate....I think I could just stay at Mud all day. Actually, I know I can, because I have....
So, come join me, you won't want to leave and won't have to- because they serve killer FOOD too, and of course that cup of Mud will keep you going all night long baby...:)
